Aurora Avenue

Aurora Avenue is the section of Washington State Route 99 that runs through King County. It runs parallel to Greenwood Avenue, where Shoreline Community College is located. Many SCC students use Aurora to commute to school. Aurora can be taken south into Downtown Seattle, or north all the way to Everett.
Much of Aurora around SCC is under a major construction project, narrowing the highway to only one lane per direction in some places.

Getting to SCC from Aurora
Shoreline Community College can be accessed from Aurora by taking N. 160th Street west to Greenwood Avenue, turning right at the flashing light, and then immediately turning left onto Innis Arden Way, where the main entrance to the school is on the immediate right. Click here for a Google map.
